November 19, 2010 -
MOA Signing in Biñan

Another city chosen by YGC to partner with in preparation for its Centennial Anniversary next year is Binan City. Considered as one of the cities close to the life of our National hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

Binan City warmly accepted YGC as they partner on the enhancement and beautification of the Rizal monument in Brgy. Poblacion. Binan Mayor Marlyn Alonte-Naguiat, YGC Chair Helen Y. Dee and Grepalife Pres Victor Quisumbing signed the Memorandum of Agreement on November 19, 2010.

     

November 12, 2010 - MOA Signing in Calamba

YGC is partnering with the cities very close to the life of Dr. Jose Rizal in preparation for its Centennial Anniversary next year. One of the chosen city is Calamba City where Rizal was born.

YGC and Calamba City inked an agreement on November 12, 2010 for the refurbishment of the Rizal Monument located at P. Burgos St. City Mayor Joaquin M. Chipeco, Jr. together with YGC Chair Helen Y. Dee and MICO President Yvonne S. Yuchengco signed the Memorandum of Agreement.

August 18, 2010 - Iloilo City National High School Received Noli Me Tangere Books

Last August 18, 2010, YGC, through RCBC officially turned over more than 1,200 Noli Me Tangere books to Iloilo City National High School.

The book donations were accepted by Special Assistant to the Mayor for Education, Matty Octavio, Schools Division Superintendent, Erlinda Gencaya, OIC Principal, Jerry Lego and OIC Filipino Department Head Noemi Bordon.

July 12, 2010 - YGC Turned Over Noli Me Tangere books to Baguio City National High School

Last July 12, 2010, YGC, through Malayan Insurance, formally turned over more than 2,000 Noli Me Tangere books to Baguio City National High School.

No less than Malayan President Yvonne S. Yuchengco personally gave over the Noli Me Tangere books to Baguio City National High School. The books were received by school principal, Elma Donaal. Witnessing the turn over are DepEd Regional Director Josefina Tamondong, DepEd Asst. Regional Director Vilma Ambat, DepEd Superindendent Elen Donato and Baguio City Administrator Nestor Canilao. Local YGC Council and Malayan officers were also present.

July 7, 2010 - YGC Donated Noli Me Tangere books to Davao City National High School

YGC, through Grepalife Financial, Inc. donated more than 2,000 Noli Me Tangere books to Davao City National High School last July 7, 2010.

July 6, 2010 - YGC Turned Over Noli Me Tangere books to Batangas National High School

Last July 6, 2010, YGC, through EEI formally turns over 2,159 Noli Me Tangere books to Batangas National High School. Principal OIC Pedro Replandor accepted the books in behalf of the school. Teachers and other Faculty members were present to witness the turn over.

June 19, 2010- Baguio City Commemorates the 149th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal

Last June 19, 2010 is the 149th Birth Anniversary of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. The YGC Council Baguio commemorates his birth anniversary by wreath offering headed by Sheila Choy at the Rizal Shrine located at Baguio City.

June 19, 2010 - YGC Iloilo Commemorates Dr. Jose Rizal’s 149th Birth Anniversary

Last June 19, 2010 is the 149th Birth Anniversary of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. YGC Iloilo joined this celebration through a wreath offering at the Rizal Shrine at Plaza Libertad, Iloilo City.

The YGC commemoration was spearheaded by the YGC Iloilo Council Head Raymond Miñoso.

YGC Iloilo Council members was joined by the representative of Mayor-elect Jed Patrick Mabilog and incoming city administrator retired Col. Norlito Bautista

June 19, 2010 - Commemoration of Dr. Jose Rizal’s 149th Birthday in Batangas City

The 149th Birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal last June 19, 2010 was commemorated by the YGC in Batangas City with a ceremonial wreath offering at the Rizal Shrine.

The wreath offering was attended by four groups:

          • City Government headed by Mrs. Amparo & Atty. De Guito
          • Rizalians headed by Atty Dimacuha
          • Knights of Rizal headed by Mr. Babasa
          • Local YGC Council

YGC Council Bacolod celebrated the 149th Birth Anniversary of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. The celebration was spearheaded by the YGC Council Bacolod Head, Ms. Jona Hechanova through a wreath offering at the Rizal Shrine located at Araneta St, Bacolod City.

January 20, 2010 - YGC to Donate Noli Me Tangere Books to Bacolod City National High School

Last January 20, 2010, thru the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement, YGC agreed to the donation of around 1,105 Noli Me Tangere books for Bacolod City National High School in time for School Year 2010-2011 sponsored by RCBC Savings.

Mayor Bing Leonardia together with Atty. Vicente Petierre III were on hand to witness the MOA signing. Bacolod City National High School Principal Jose Dayot hosted the event that was spearheaded by the YGC Council.
